In Brief :
This Society ( SDAWN) was established in the year 1994 and was registered with Registrar , Andhra Pradesh Government, India as Non – Profit Christian Organization to serve among Christian poor and Needy and also upliftment of downtrodden people .

AIMS AND THE OBJECTS:
1. 1. Generate employment opportunities in rural areas. and stop migration from
2. rural to urban especially unskilled labour, to avoid development of slums in
3. urban .
2. Educating women regarding self employment and child labour.
3. Encourage urban slums to rural migration assuring them employment opportunities in rural (their native places).
4. Generating alternative economical activities in rural areas other than agriculture.
5. To establish market oriented, demand driven livelihood opportunity training centres.
6. To deliver appropriate training programmes for the poor to enhance their livelihood.
7. To reduce the percentage to people living below the poverty line through employment training.
8. To provide past and emerging trends in employment in various industrial sectors.
9. To prepare inventory of on going schemes aimed at strengthening the livelihood.
10. To conduct vocational technical training institutions for unemployed people.
11. To inculcate in the people a sense of responsibility towards protection of environment.
12. To promote social consciousness amongst the members to eliminate the illiteracy and social backwardness in all the members of the community.
13. To take steps for rendering free Medical Aid to the poor resident of the area of operation by getting necessary aid from our country and also foreign countries and to take steps for helping the physically handicapped persons men and women irrespective of the cast to which they belong and secure for them necessary aids including all kinds of vehicles etc.
14. To develop selected villages and Urban, slum villages through integrated socio-economic and urban slum activities in the fields such as agriculture including irrigation. Animal Husbandry, fisheries, Adult-Education.
Technical Education’s, Extension and vocational Guidance, Women & child
and care of the aged people in rural and urban.
15. To promote development give and undertake the educational activities like precursory, balwadis, crushes homes children and also to conduct the programmes in conservation of environment, natural resources and adult and non-formal education.
16. To formation of more self help groups to open joint accounts for self help groups to operate in the bank. One member of self help group and office bearer of will hold joint account in the nationalized banks in the area of operation.
17. To open more vocational training courses centres in tailoring computer training courses, beautician course, soft toys making etc., rural and slum areas in the are of operation of for general and duabbo person.
18. To organize Orphanages, Homes for the aged; and other community development project, for HIV/AIDS infected families, for the downtrodden, especially the women and children, including medical help, to ensure availability of healthcare, to people, to prevent and control of infectious diseases which are poverty linked and attain health care in other threatening diseases and to maintain healthcare in general, regardless of caste, social status etc.,
19. To provide education facilities for street children.
20. To provide awareness about women issues and women empowerment
21. To work for the protection and establishment wild and bird sanctuaries and refusesves in India.
22. To provide, maintain and equip museums responsibilities suitable for the study of wild and birds.
23. To promote research and interest in technology that is appropriate for the development sustainable environment and economy.
24. To select and implement the technology to suit the needs of communities either by way of advice or Research programmes.
25. To create awareness among the people regarding the use of socially, economically and environmentally sound technology.
26. To assist in production research and training, technical services agro ecology, agricultural policy assessment, biomass ever systems utilization.
27. To organize workshop, public Seminars, Educational programmes, conferences and Demonstrations of environmental and related issues.
BANK ACCOUNT: The Bank account shall be open in any Nationalized Bank or Pvt., Banks by the President, Treasurer and Secretary and operated by any two.
1. POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT: The President has following powers:
a) To supervise and regulate the working of the society.
b) To preside all the meetings of the Executive Committee and the General Body meetings of the SOCIETY FOR DEVELOPMENT AND WELFARE OF THE NEEDY.
c) To address the meetings as and when required.
d) To direct the General Secretary to convene meeting of the executive committee and the General body and shall have the power to nominate provisionally of the vice President, general Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary according to the circumstances from among the members of the society
e) To maintain or cause to be maintained all registers, account books, minutes books etc., and to cause the audit of the income and expenditure of the society.
f) To record and maintain the Minutes of the Meetings and other transactions of the Executive committee and General body meeting.
2. POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE GENERAL SECRETARY:
a) The carry out all the decision and directives of the General body of the Executive committee.
b) To manage the day to day working of the society.
c) To maintain all correspondence, to issue notices of meetings, to prepare the Minutes of the Meeting, to sign all papers, letters, documents etc.,
d) To place before the Executive Committee, all important correspondence, suggestion, information etc., for its consideration.
e) To convene the annual meetings, special or ordinary, and shall prepare the annual report and after its approval by the Executive Committee, shall present the same to the General Body at its annual meeting and meetings of Executive Committee and other sub-committees.
f) To represent the society in all official matters or legal action for against the society with the permission of the President.
3. TREASURER: The Treasure shall be responsible:
a) To maintain proper accounts of the Society.
b) Shall be in-charge of all funds of the society. Shall be primarily responsible for thee collection of all funds, subscriptions, admission fee and other sums due to the society.
c) The Treasurer shall along with President or General Secretary be authorized to operate an account with a scheduled Bank, determined by the Executive committee.
d) To ensure/supervise the income and expenditures of the society and to report to the General Secretary.
ADDING:
a. Provision to the effect that no addition, alteration, amendment in the objects shall be made without the prior approval of the Director of Income Tax (Exemptions), Hyderabad.
b. Provision with regard to maintenance of accounts for the financial year and compulsory audit of accounts by the a Chartered Account.
c. Provision to the effect in case of dissolution, the society properties shall be transferred/ handed over to society having similar aims and objects and also registered U/s. 12A of the I.T. Act, 1961.
d. Provision to the effect that the investment of funds of the society/ trust shall be made in accordance with the provision of Section 11 (5) of the I.T. Act, 1961.

OUR ACTIVETIES :
We have already conducted Medical camps, Eye camps, Adult Literacy Program, School dropouts continuing education program, Health awareness camps, ( HIV/AIDS ), and Environmental awareness Campaign among rural children with through our self help groups .
